David McKee’s beloved creation Elmer the Patchwork Elephant will appear at Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts thanks to an exciting new partnership.
Gulliver’s, which has resorts in Milton Keynes, Matlock Bath, Rotherham and Warrington, and Elmer have developed a three-year agreement.
Elmer remains one of the most iconic and widely read children’s book series of all time, promoting inclusivity and friendship - themes that have since resonated with millions of children around the world.
The much-loved character will now be making guest appearances for meet and greets and photo opportunities across all Gulliver’s resorts until 2027.
Dean Kimberley, director of loyalty and marketing at Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome Elmer to the Gulliver’s family. We had an incredible lantern of Elmer at our recent Land of Lights event held over the winter at Gulliver’s Land which was one of our stand out pieces and loved by all our guests so develop the partnership further with a more long-standing agreement is the perfect fit for us.
“Elmer is an amazing brand and we’re excited to keep delivering more fun and memorable moments for all our guests.”
Paul Black, PR and brand director, Andersen Press, said: “We’re really pleased to be partnering with Gulliver’s with Elmer – bringing David McKee’s beloved Patchwork Elephant to families around the country. Hope lots of children and their adults get to meet Elmer and be introduced to this brilliant world of stories.”
